The National Certificate Level II course provides school leavers
with generic and industry-specific skills that will enable trainees to be immediately productive in the industry.
This course is designed to provide the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of an individual to become a competent Wooden Furniture Maker in accordance with industry standards. Upon completion of this course, the graduates will be able to work in the wood industry where they can perform wooden furniture making works such as: carrying out basic wood work, carrying out fabrication of living room furniture, carrying out fabrication of bedroom furniture and carrying out fabrication of storage cabinets. In the process of fabricating different furniture, the individual will also be able to demonstrate professionalism and safety practices.
To obtain the qualification of Wooden Furniture Making BQF Level II, all modules and learning outcomes prescribed for this qualification must be achieved.
