The National Certificate Level 2 provides the school leavers with generic and industry specific skills and demands a level of performance that will enable new recruits to the industry to be immediately productive. This course is designed to provide the knowledge, skills and attitudes of an individual to become competent as Welder in accordance with industry standards. Upon completion of this course the graduates will be able to work in industries where they can perform welding services such as performing gas welding/cutting/brazing, performing arc welding and carrying out sheet metal work by maintaining proper career professionalism and safety. To obtain the qualification of Welding NC2, all learning outcomes prescribed for this qualification must be achieved
